Georges River Reframed: International Day of People with Disability EOI

Submissions are now being accepted. Submissions close at midnight 11 November 2025 (AEDT).

OVERVIEW

Georges River Council is seeking submissions from emerging, mid-career or established artists who identify as being d/Deaf or a person with disability connected to Georges River to participate in the inaugural Georges River Reframed exhibition through the submission of one or more artworks. One artwork from the exhibit may be used in the design of Council’s Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP) 2026-2030. Artists may submit an existing work or create a new work.

One artwork from the exhibit may be selected as the featured art for Georges River Council’s Disability Inclusion Action Plan 2026-2030 (DIAP). The selected artist will receive $2,000 for use of their artwork for the DIAP between 2026-2030
